• Develop preliminary drawings and suggestions
• Begin estimating process to determine cost of project
• Consult with client and subcontractors as needed to determine feasibility

• Present estimated cost of project to client
• Discuss optional features for project
• Revise scope of work until compatible with budget (if required)
4. Agreement
• Prepare contract documents and sign
• Define payment schedule
5. Planning
• Introduce production manager and/or project superintendent
• Discuss proposed start date and estimated time to complete
• Secure necessary permits
• Review site and plans with appropriate trades if necessary
6. Construction
• Cover and protect existing surfaces for access and dust control
• Start construction process with employees and subcontractors
• Schedule and coordinate required building inspections
• Create final checklist upon approach of project completion
7. Completion
• Final cleaning of project and adjoining areas as needed
• Final walk-through
